Delphian School Student Wins Paper Gardens Writing Award

The Paper Garden is a written work and craftsmanship challenge held each year by Human expressions Cooperation of Yamhill Area. The challenge welcomes nearby kids, youth, and grown-ups to submit works of verse, writing and visual workmanship. The triumphant pieces are then distributed in a handcrafted chapbook.

Delphian understudy, Malick, participated in the Paper Garden’s challenge in the class of “Youth Short Story” and brought home in front of the rest of the competition The lesser was granted a duplicate of the chapbook and was welcome to peruse a choice of her story at the honor function held at Chemeketa School in McMinnville.

The triumphant story was titled “In Flew Enza” and portrayed a post-prophetically calamitous future and a youthful fighter who utilized her abilities to help those in need.

Cassidy established the Delphian Author’s Club in 2013 at the nearby private life experience school. The club was shaped to unite understudies and office to make a written work discussion for sharing and enhancing each other’s work.
